Emergency Response Team

The Emergency Response Team (ERT) is law enforcement's means to properly train and equip officers on how to safely and effectively respond to any high risk incidents that may occur in our area such as high risk felony arrest, drug search warrants, barricaded subjects, hostage situations, active shooters and any other incidents that require a higher level of training and preparation. ERT team members volunteer for the extra duty and receive no extra pay or benefits. ERT members conduct additional training each month beyond their normal assigned duties and training requirements.

ERT Officers main goal is to insure that they can effectively respond to all serious incidents in the area and resolve each situation safely so that our officers, citizens, guest and offenders leave the incident safely.
